5 Tips for Decorating a Digital Planner with Stickers
Keep your planner pages fun (and still tidy) with these five simple tricks.
Digital planners are handy, but their pages can feel stiff. Stickers bring a page to life, with a few tricks. Here are the five I use most.
1. Pick one theme per week
Don’t use every sticker at once. Choose a mood: a slow week gets afternoon nap Pumi stickers, a busy week gets fired-up Pumi. Your pages will feel connected from day to day.
2. Use stickers as markers, not just decoration
Stickers work best when they mean something. For example:
- Happy Pumi = task done
- Curious Pumi = something to look into
- Sleepy Pumi = rest day
Soon you’ll be able to read your week’s mood from the stickers alone.
3. Stick to 2–3 main colors
Pick colors from the stickers you’re using and reuse them for highlights and headings. It looks much tidier than using the whole rainbow.
4. Leave some empty space
A roomy page is easier on the eyes, and there’s still space if your plans change. An easy rule: don’t cover more than a third of the page with decoration.
5. Keep a “favorite sticker kit”
Gather the 10–15 stickers you use most in one collection or folder. Decorating gets quick, no digging through every file each day. See Organize Your Digital Sticker Collection for how.
Bonus: transparent PNG stickers can sit on top of text and lines without a white box. That’s why stickers at Pumimart use this format.
