What Can I Use Digital Stickers For? A Quick License Guide
Buying a digital product means getting permission to use it, not owning its copyright. Here’s what’s allowed and what isn’t.
When you buy or download a digital product (including free ones), you get a license, which is permission to use it. The copyright stays with its creator. Here’s a summary for products at Pumimart.
✅ Allowed
- Personal use: notes, journals, planners, wallpapers, avatars, chats, and personal social media.
- Emotes and VTuber assets on your own streaming channels and communities (Twitch, YouTube, Discord), including monetized channels.
- Printing for your own use, like sticking them in your notebook or on your laptop.
❌ Not allowed
- Reselling, sharing, or uploading the original files anywhere else, whether whole, edited, or bundled into another pack.
- Claiming to be the creator or removing ownership marks.
- Using them for products for sale (merchandise, prints for sale), logos, or ads, unless the product page mentions a commercial license or you have written permission.
- Using them to train AI or image-generating models, or for NFTs.
Everyday examples
- Placing Pumi stickers in your digital planner and sharing a photo of the page on your personal Instagram? Allowed! 🌸
- Sending the sticker ZIP file to a group chat? Not allowed. Share the shop link instead.
- Printing stickers to sell at a bazaar? Not allowed, unless there’s a commercial license.
When in doubt
If a product page mentions a different license, that page’s license applies. The full details are in the Terms & Conditions, and if you’re still unsure, just ask on the feedback page.
Non-commercial fan art of Pumi and friends is very welcome, as long as it isn’t presented as official or sold. We love seeing it! 💕
